by friends to our wedding we had a coupon for a 3 -course candlelight dinner in the castle gift mountains To get what we honored last weekend on our first wedding anniversary.
We have reserved the table by phone, so we have little on arrival at the restaurant but were a disappointment: they had us - without asking - set in the smoking area. On demand, we have no problem getting a table at the Non smoking area, which runs parallel to our greeting from the kitchen - was covered and thus we could move there as a starter (three different variations of meat tasty). The castle hills had us put together a menu from which we could then choose our food. have as a starter, we opted for a wild herb salad with prawns and crayfish soup, which both were very tasty. Both prawns and crawfish were cooked to perfection. For the main course there was for us in honey roasted duck breast with Majoranrahmsoße, almond balls, snow peas and half a pear with Preisselbeersoße. What had sounded on paper first to get used to was on the plate to a really tasty dish. My duck was nicely pink, the snow peas still crisp, but the almond balls were a little mealy and tasteless.
For dessert there was the desserts Castle Mountains, consisting of zabaglione, bright and dark chocolate mousse, two scoops of ice cream, a mocha cream and a fruit cup in a homemade almond croissant. All super tasty. For espresso, it was still a shelf with petit fours, and we shall be formally rolled out of the restaurant. The wine has benefited for a meal was chosen according to our wishes and we tasted so good. The staff was friendly, but may have little more attention. Because of two weddings and the normal operation restaurant but they were pretty determined in the stress. Our waiter apologized to us because he could not bother us so much effort.
place because of the smoke, the almond balls and slightly inattentive service, there are of us 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5
